While I do love Kubrick, I really disliked his take on Lolita, but then again, the censors of that time wouldn't have allowed much...not that that '97 adaptation had total free reign, but Adrian Lyne certainly had more creative freedom.

Interesting how Chaplin remained a beloved icon although there was proof of his sexual relationships with young girls, and Fatty Arbuckle was villified via rumor and lack of proof.
