Winter's Tale by Mark Helprin. I had been hoping my next pick wouldn't be too long as nowadays it takes me much longer to finish a book but alas the magical jar did not listen to my wants this time. I remember putting this in my tbr pile not because I liked the book description but because I just loved seeing the trailers for the movie version with the ever gorgeous Colin Farrell. Now that I really read the description and see that it is about a middle aged man falling in love with a girl I am a bit wary. So if I don't like this, and I complain up a storm about it, then we can all blame Colin Farrell.
