Okay, not exactly book-related, but what kind of friend would I be if I didn't try?

Some dear friends of mine are working hard to make their dream a reality. Beginning August 12, you will be able to listen to Bard Time Stories: A D&D 5e Podcast. I know there are books based off of the lore of Dungeons and Dragons, so I figured, why not spread the word? Imagine an entire manga series based on this idea, and you get Delicious in Dungeon, one of the series I tried out during my vacation.

An adventurer's sister gets eaten by a dragon. He wants to rescue her but has no money to buy food, so he finally has an excuse to try something he's been intrigued about for a long time: cooking and eating the monsters he kills. It's a foodie manga featuring fictional foods. Hopefully I can write up review posts of the first couple volumes soon.

So this podcast is super long, but the funny stuff is front-loaded in the first maybe 10 minutes. It includes the personal recollections of Ice T when he was sent by his agent to read an audiobook. Turns out, it was a D&D novella. Ice wasn't so into the whole Pegasus/Pegasi thing. "Motherfuckers talk like Yoda." 

I'm a huge fucking fan of Ice T because of Tank Girl. He plays a reincarnated kangaroo thing. It's pretty much the best ever. 

The thing he says that makes me steeple my fingers together evilly is this: "Let me read some porno or something. I know about that." Gilbert Gottfried reading 50 Shades was dope, but Ice reading it would be the dopest. Can you even imagine?
