October has arrived and that means it’s Halloween month! To celebrate, for the entire month my horror short story collection: A Visit From the Soul-Eater: A Trove of Horror Stories, Flash and Short is available for free download at Noisetrade, Smashwords, and Barnes and Noble.
The first horror story collection from T.C. Harrison, features 31 flash fiction and short story pieces featuring various creatures of the night inspired by traditional horror tales, West African and Choctaw myths and creatures, the lyrics of Courtney Love and Dead Man’s Bones, and the author’s own imagination.

You can browse the collection to your heart’s content by “object type,” topic, name, place, date, or “on view.” Or you can conduct targeted searches for specific items. In addition to centuries of art from all over the far and near East, the collection includes a good deal of 19th century American art."

Did you know the Metropolitan Museum of Art has *many* of their publications free for download on their website? As high quality pdf's? Not just their catalogues, but a glorious treasure trove of art non-fiction of all kinds, from archeological "The art medicine in ancient Egypt" to "Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy" and everything you can imagine in between.
Some of these books retail for over $100 each, if you can even find a print copy, and a lot of them are out of print.

ETA: Sorry *sob*, it's not quite ALL of them (they're still working on it, slowly but surely digitising their backlist). But apparently they add new ones fairly regularly, and there's still a HUGE number of lovely things to download.
