My Review: Boy since I started doing book reviews, I've read one good book after another. Cache a Predator is no different. Just as it sounds, it has the adventurous hobby of geocaching mixed in with a thriller type story line. This book actually has two story lines in it. One of child neglect, which is a reality in our society today. The other is of a mystery who seems to have an unusual way of revenge mixed in with geocaching. This story does remind me of the Lorena Bobbit story long ago. If you remember that whole story line, you'll get the other story line of the book, but with a twist. I couldn't stop reading, but I will think about going geocaching. Oh, and it has a little bit of a love story in this too. It is very dark, and deals with alot of real topics. Not for the faint of heart. Will Brett find happiness, and get Quinn? Will Sarah finally let a man into her life? Will Ali get the help she needs? Find out! Loved it, and I can't wait for a follow up. Until Next time. Carole
What a book!! This will bring out your deepest thoughts, stirring them up and making your heart burst. It will open your eyes to the dark world that many people suffer from whether it be alcohol / drug abuse, child abuse, mental illness and more. On top of which comes the most cutest, loveable little girl, Quinn and her loving father Brett, who will melt your heart.
There's a predator on the loose with one mission on his mind - to rid the local area of pedophiles, to keep the children in the area safe so they don't have to undergo the same torturous childhood that he had gone through. How does he do this and what body parts does he hide in the geocaching sites? You will have to read the book but be prepared for some 'coarse' words here and there, bringing out the true flavour of the mystery.
Officer Brett Reed, Quinn's father, along with his partner Clay try to track down the predator. Yet Brett has worse problems to deal with much closer to home. His addict of a wife sinks lower into despair whilst having custody of their only daughter Quinn. His daughter is found in the street on her own and is taken into protective care. You would think it would be a straight forward handing over to the father but no, it turns out to be the worst thing that could have happened.
The book shows how years of child cruelty can affect those in later life and how the suffering is passed on to their loved ones. Personally it made me really think about how unfair the legal system is, and in this case how ludicrous it is when dealing with the custody of children towards fathers, it also brings to light frightening potential flaws in trusted protective services that will make may your skin crawl.
Get ready for the story twists, unexpected moments, the holding of breath and the emotional grab of this brilliant thriller, you won't want to put this one down.

Margarita, Bindi and Drew head to an historic inn for a weekend caching event. It’s only been a few months since they nabbed a killer responsible for the deaths of three caching friends, but when a man seemingly dies of a heart attack, but his body disappears, Margarita and Bindi can’t help but stick their curious noses in to figure out the puzzle. But instead of unraveling one mystery several more pop up. What on this Green Earth is going on and how do they put a stop to it before more people die?
Book Two in the Caching Out series is just as good as the first. Even though the story picks up three months after the group has nabbed a serial killer and life seems fairly normal, they’re about to step in it again. Can I say how much I love the writing, the characters and the mystery? Oh, yeah, it’s my review, so I can. The writing is wonderful, the mystery deviously twisty and the characters delightful. There are so many things going on that it can be hard to keep up, but that just made me more determined to figure out whodunit, which I didn’t. Foiled again! Though I did have some suspicions, nothing my gut was telling me would’ve held up in court. All-in-all a sizable serving of excellent mystery with great characters and humor for dessert.
