I read through this book in a couple of days, and I liked the story over all, but it is definitely a 1.5 star book. Too much forced humor, too much sex for shock value, too much toeing (or outright stepping over) the line between humor and slurs against many different marginalized peoples. I won't continue with the series or with the author's other works. I can't count the number of trigger warnings I would need to write out for a full review. Doesn't look like urban fiction is my cup of tea.
