'The Sinners Touch' by Apryl Baker is book Two in the "Manwhore" series. This is the story of Kade and Angelique. I have read the first book "Touch Me Not" which was really great..but this is easily a standalone book.
Kade is an FBI agent who has come to town to look into a serial killer case. Which lands him back in front of Angelique who he once had a relationship with. Back in the day when he was just starting out as a Cop he went undercover and befriend Angelique brother. There he and Angelique dated and married but when he ended up arresting Angelique brother everything when bad. Kade said some awful things to her and just left.
Now in the present day we learn that Angelique happens to see the serial killer and he is now after her. Kade comes forward to protect her and he knows now is his second chance to win her back. But can Angelique trust him again?
I had a few issues with this book so I am bouncing back between 3.5 stars and 4 stars. I loved the writing and fell in love with the first book so much so I had to read this book right after it.
But this book I just had an issue with Kade who said he forgot that he was married. Granted he was undercover back then, but when he first meets Angelique in the present day, he calls her his wife and tells her that he used his real name in the wedding. That period of their lives was very traumatic and I am sure he would like to forget but I just can't get past that.
Overall this was a great read that I didn't put down...I had to know who things went.

Lily father was a race car driver who died in one of his races when she was young. Lily was very close to her father and he taught her allot about cars. So when he past she became very destructive at an early age which later cause the death of her sister. From then on she has issue with people touching her which has impacted her relationship with her best friend Adam. Lily thinks she is in love with him but he only sees her as a little sister. When she meets Nikoli who is attending the same College as her and Adam, he comes on to her. But Lily knows Nikoli has a reputation as a 'Manwhore' and she had to clean up a few of his mess when he was done with the girl. But he convinces her to go out with him. Nikoli doesn't do relationships and one night is all a lady gets but when Lily says no to him he sees this as a challenge. But on that date he learns about Lily phobia and that her feelings lay with Adam. They come to a agreement type bet that he will help her learn to allow him to touch her so that she can get over her phobia. If he can do that than she will sleep with him. But she turns the table and makes it that he can't sleep with anyone else for 3 months and if he does she gets his car that he loves so much.
This is my first book by Ms. Baker but It won't be my last. I stayed up all night reading this book because I couldn't put it down...then moved on to the next book in this series. So happy to found this Author's work!

I am a huge fan of Katy Evans and this new series was highly anticipated for me. The Real series was extraordinary and the steam factor off the charts - hot damn **fans face**. I seriously love Ms Evans, her style is like a breath of fresh air, easy flow, fabulous characters and unpredictability. This has everything a book needs to keep me hooked from the first page.

Rachel Livingston is a reporter looking for her big story, something to shift her into the limelight, boost her career and help set her mother up in a stable life. The infamous bachelor, Malcolm Kyle Preston Logan Saint is no saint, but everything she thought she knew was wrong. Known for his parties, women and wealth Saint is really an enigma.

Rachel has her big story – Malcolm Saint. It’s her job to get inside his mind and find out:

How he stays so calm and in control?
What’s the deal with his father?
What role do all the women play in his life?
Why does he have a fascination for 4s? Everything is done in 4s.

Her first step is to actually get to see him, since Malcolm doesn’t like the press and it’s near impossible to get an interview.

Her first encounter and she’s covered in paint. No time to make a professional impression, but Saint doesn’t seem upset, he seems amused. She was only allotted ten minutes and they didn’t actually get to talk about anything important before he had to leave for another meeting. Rachel asks for another interview, but no matter what happens, her interviews never go to plan and her story gets pushed back and back.

I can give you a thousand badges, Miss Livingston, but if he wants you, he’s going to come after you. He does have the patience of a saint when it comes to getting what he wants.

Saint seems determined now, but will he win? Will he get what he wants? Will Rachel get the story she’s really after? Will Saint find out the truth? How long will it take for Rachel to lose her heart?

You would think this is a typical romance, man meets woman, they get together and they fight, but then there’s the happily ever after. Well, let me tell you, Manwhore is not your typical romance. There will be intrigue, there will be unpredictable twists and there is a sequel. The supporting characters were also fun, but Gina, oh man, she was annoying me with her bitterness and broken heart. Anyway, I definitely recommend this to ALL romance readers, it is a MUST!
