E-scooter Rental in New York

Fancy Apple offers e-scooter rental services in NYC. We offer 2 models of electric scooters: Levy Plus and Segway Ninebot Max (the bigger one). Renting an e-scooter is a great deal for big cities because the maximum speed can be up to 15mph only for $18/36 per hour.

SOS Bookshelf BINGO starting up

My favorite BINGO game is starting up again back on goodreads (yeah, I know, but I still do participate in some groups there and have been pretty obsessed with this BINGO game).

See https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/18783490-head-to-sos-sign-up-now-for-r15?comment=169186784#comment_169186784 for signups and other information.

Signups open now, cut off 8/5, starts 8/9.

UPDATE:  Teams have been assigned.  I'm on #9.

Bookshelf BINGO Sign Ups (Open thru Sunday)

Just in case anyone interested didn't see the thread.

It's still back on the goodrwads group (booklikes and Leafmarks really need to beef up group features to compete).  I'm still hooked but still like it less now that it's fewer user shelf based BINGO calls.

Gearing up for Bookshelf BINGO

Sign ups aren't open yet (nor start date set in stone)—but, I'm dusting off the TBR pile in anticipation of this team challenge.

For me, it's one of the few challenges that really whittle down the TBR and reminds me of what I've been wanting to read.

Various group activities and a couple of real life friends still hanging in are pretty much why I'm not completely off goodreads (well, and being able to bitch on the popcorn threads...).

Bookshelf Tour!

Have you ever been curious about what's on my bookshelf? Do we share any books in common? (You want to read any of these with me?).

You can watch the video above, at the link to my blog, or here at my booktube channel.

Sorry for the bad lighting :(.

People mentioned here:

Probably slightly out of order compared to the video:

1.) The Mistborn trilogy by Brandon Sanderson
2.) Stardust by Neil Gaiman
3.) Song of the Lioness by Tamora Pierce
4.) Half Bad by Sally Green
5.) Roomies by Tara Altebrando & Sara Zarr
6.) The Golden Compass by Phillip Pullman
7.) A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness
8.) This Is What Happy Looks Like by Jennifer Smith
9.) The Retribution of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin
10.) The Darkest Minds trilogy by Alexandra Bracken
11.) A Darkness Strange and Lovely by Susan Dennard
12.) Midwinterblood by Marcus Sedgwick
13.) House of the Scorpion by Nancy Farmer
14.) Brown Girl Dreaming by Jacqueline Woodson
15.) A Wrinkle in Time trilogy by Madeleine L'Engle
16.) Mortal Heart by Robin LaFevers
17.) The Fear Factory by Paolo Bacigalupi
18.) Love Is the Drug by Alaya Dawn Johnson
19.) Lies We Tell Ourselves by Robin Talley
20.) Belzhar by Meg Wolitzer
21.) Made for You by Melissa Marr

++ other nonfiction and occasionally adult fiction (The Book of Life by Deborah Harkness; The Magician's Land by Lev Grossman; The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August by Claire North).

About half of these I bought since moving to NJ; the rest I brought from home. What's on your bookshelf? Do we share any books in common?
