Cute little book.
The Bone Thief - Alyson Noel The Bone Thief - Alyson Noel

I really want to thank the author, publisher, and netgalley, for granting my request to read and review this book for my reading pleasure.

I thought the book was a cute little read, I only gave it three stars, just because it took me until almost the half way point to really get into it. I don't think it was the book or author's fault. I think it's really just because I am definitely not the attended target, or I should say age group for this book.

I did like the main character of Grimsly, what a name unique name for the main hero of the story. I love that in a world of magic, that he was so normal, or maybe he really wasn't as normal as he thinks, or other people thought. The book started really picking up when Grimsly had to go to a world that had no magic. So he could find out why his world was losing their magic abilities. It was interesting in regards to why there world was losing their magic, and to see if Grimsly could save their world of magic.

I liked Grimsly's friends that had magic abilities which were, Ming, Ollie, and Penelope. And another friend Frankie whom he meets in the normal world. I thought she was a very interesting individual, and I loved that she had some spunk in her. But also knows when she should back down.

The bad guy and why he wanted  to hurt individuals with Magical abilities was interesting, and how he was able to go about doing this was very gross.

I thought the book ended just the way it should have for it's attendee age group, but for me personally, I would have liked more action. And a better wrap up for the ending of the book, but that's my own personal preference.

I personally wouldn't buy the book for myself but maybe for my nieces and nephew's that are in the targeted audience.

Definitely a different type of book, then I usually read lately.
Haven - Mary Lindsey

First off I would like to thank Netgalley, Entangled Publishing, LLC, and they Author Mary Lindsey, for granting my request to read and review this very interesting book.

I really loved the character of Rain, from the very beginning, I loved that he could handle himself. I really also loved that it was only his point of view that we were getting. I am so use to reading books that are mostly from the females point of view. Or a mixture of both the female, and males point of views.

I really wasn't sure if I was going to like Freddie, or if you want to call her by her real name, Friederiike, at first but she started to grow on me, but not until  almost the half way point. And that's just because she wanted to at first protected her secret, and the big reason protect Rain. I figured out her secret way before Rain did. I loved that once Rain found out her secret, it didn't stop him from wanting to be with Freddie. Even when Freddie wanting to push him away. Another character I really loved was Rain's aunt Ruby, who took him in after his mom died. I really felt bad for Ruby when her backstory was revealed to us the readers. I figured something happened in her past, but I wasn't sure exactly what that was.

The ending I thought was pretty action packed, and I was very happy on how it ended. I would definitely read more books by this Author.

Really Great Start to the Series.
Rosemarked - Livia Blackburne

Boy this book was pretty good and it really kept my attention throughout the whole book. I loved both of the main characters, which were Zivah, and Dineas, both of them have a sad history. Zivah has a incurable disease called rosemarked, but she won't let that get her down. Dineas was captured and tortured, I believe he said for a year. And of course due to that he has his walls up. So Zivah is a healer and with this disease or actually with is more of a sickness, some people recover and is fine, while others get the rosemarked and that means they can get the sickness again. This guy named Arka, I am not going to tell you much about him but he is important in the book. Well anyways he was at Zivah's camp and got the sickness but wasn't rosemarked. Zivah was the one that saved his life, and he invited her to come to his hometown to learn more about medicine, etc. I know I am not explaining this very well, so I am sorry. But if you read this book you'll understand were I am going with this.

So Zivah and Dineas meet up and for reasons I am not going to mention, decide to go were Arka is from, but to do this Dineas can't go as he is now, for reasons again I am not going to mention. For these two totally different people to do this Zivah makes a type of potion that will make Dineas forget who he is at times. Zivah also makes another one that will make him remember at times when she gives it to him. Plus she makes one more that will give him his memory back permanently.

It's very interesting how different Dineas is without his memories, when his this way, his just so carefree, and really has feelings for Zivah. And you can tell that she has feelings for him as well, but since she has a death sentence on her, she doesn't want him to have these feelings. And of course she doesn't want to have them for him either.

So really no romance in at least this book, but who knows about the next book.

I know I am not doing a really great job reviewing this book but it's really an interesting book, and I finished it in a day so it really kept me interested in what was going to happen and how the book was going to end. Which was in a cliffhanger but yet satisfying place for right now. And I will definitely be reading the next one in this series, to see what is going to happen next. Because I really hope good things are going to happen to these two characters, who I hope windup with one another, if Zivah can get cured somehow.

I am so glad that I requested and was approved for this book, from Netgalley.

Reading progress update: I've read 27%.
Gray Wolf Island - Tracey Neithercott Gray Wolf Island - Tracey Neithercott

So far nothing much has happened. Only thing that has really taken place is that Ruby's sister died, which isn't a spoiler, since its mentioned in the books description. That should change now that the group of characters are on their way to the island. So far I really love Elliott and Charlie the most. We also have in this group, Gabe and Anne. Another individual we have that isn't with are group, is a mystery guy, because he doesn't know who he is, but goes by Bart. So hopefully when I get back to reading this book tomorrow, things will start to get interesting.

Changed my mind on who my Favorite character was!!!!!
Girls Made of Snow and Glass - Melissa Bashardoust

While I still really love Lynet, my absolute favorite character has to be the Huntsmen. I really loved his and Mina, as well as Lynet's and his relationship. I also love that he seemed so alive, and he believed in Mina even when she didn't deserve it.

I also started to warm up to Nadia and Lynet's relationship, even though Nadia does something that if I was Lynet I don't know if I could have forgave her. I also really loved the very complicated relationship of Lynet and Mina. Those two had so much in common, but yet they were both so very different.

I really didn't like either of their dads, especially Gregory, the way he was to Mina, and to me he was so cray, cray!!!!!  I did love how the book ended, and the outcome of the relationship of Lynet and Mina. While there wasn't much action and adventure in the book, I still enjoyed the world building and getting to know the different characters.

I am so glad I was given the chance to read this book by the way of NetGalley, after I requested to read and review it. I really enjoyed reading this book and I would read the book again, as well as recommended it to my friends and families.
