Science-Fiction at its best.
The Word Endangered (The Face of the Deep, Book 3) - Steve Rzasa

This was a fantastic read. I love classic science-fiction adventure (opera?) novels done well and this is a perfect example. Steve Rzasa's novels keep getting better and this is the best one yet in the series. I did not read Broken Sight which takes place prior to this story but I look forward to doing so.

Overall, the writing is excellent an awesome story and indepth plot-line that expands the created universe. I really hope this is not the end of this series. Such a unique concept for a series.

A must read!

The Word Unleashed
The Word Unleashed - Steve Rzasa

A great second book in this series. Excellent story and writing. There were numerous formatting errors in my ebook edition (i.e. missing parts of sentences at the beginning of some chapters, etc.) that I found very distracting.

Overall a great Sci-Fi read. Looking forward to reading the next book soon...

Hidden Christmas
Hidden Christmas: The Surprising Truth Behind the Birth of Christ - Timothy Keller Wow... a simple yet very powerful book on the difference Christ makes in our lives. This is an absolute must read. This is short (only 150 pages) but worth spending time and pouring over. I will without a doubt be reading this next December too and trying to spend more time on it.

Orphan X
Orphan X: A Novel (Evan Smoak) - Gregg Hurwitz

I received this book through a Goodreads giveaway to give an honest review. I am pleasantly surprised with the beginning... Very suspenseful and wonderfully written. Looking forward to continuing...

I have finished the book and it is truly a great spy thriller. The writing is excellent and polished and the plot does not languish. It style reminds me of the Bourne movies (although I have not read the books) but by no means is this taken from that. This is new and inventive with excellent plot twists.

My only complaints are my own... there is lots of swearing as the story moves on which I don't feel is necessary. There are two sex scenes which I always feel is not needed in a good book. I have taken a 'star' off for these.

A must read (apparently a movie is in the works) before the movie comes out! I will be reading more by this author.
