Sarah's Key follows Sarah, a young Jewish girl who was rounded up by French Police to go to Auschwitz. Sarah's story is woven in with Julia's journey, 60 years later, to research and write an article about the Velodrome d'Hiver Roundup. Tatiana de Rosnay writes Sarah's story beautifully. The emotions that Sara had throughout her journey came through magnificently in De Rosnay's writing. The alternation between Sarah and Julia's story was well done.

I read this over a period 2 1/2 days and I couldn't put it down. Sarah's story was heart wrenching and I found myself feeling pulled in, wanting to stay with Julia and keep researching more with her.
I do wish there was a reference guide for more information on the French Occupation during WWll at the end.
