. Baby Llama gets all tucked in and his mama leaves the room. He gets worried and when he calls her and she does not come back immediately. He starts a  fit of wailing and weeping, finally bringing his panic-stricken mother running back to his room. After her reassurance, Baby Llama settles and drifts off to sleep.

I would use this in a classroom with an activity where students can color and decorate their own pajamas. I also thing the Roll-a-LLama game would be a great activity.

Llama drama ensues as Baby Llama whimpers and whines during bedtime. Mama Llama returns to make things right and help Baby Llama have a good night.

A great book for kindergarteners to read aloud, with repetitive phrases and rhyming words.

This is the first Llama Llama book I ever read and it is still my favorite. I love this book.

I love the pictures, I love the rhymes, and I love how relatable it is. Such a great book. There are so many awesome Llama Llama books, but this one will always shine the brightest for me. 

Amazing, amazing book (and way better than the Netflix adaptation of the series #sorrynotsorry).

The Napping House is one of my favorite stories! I love how the action in this story grows and grows. When reading this story with little people, I love to discuss how the perspective of the pictures changes as the story progresses. I think it would be especially fun to allow this book to accompany a pajama day. I would allow the students to retell the story and sequence the events using pre-made character cutouts.

This book is about llama going to bed and needing his mama to be there with him. This would be a good reference for how your teacher is always there for you and never too far away. I would use this for younger grades. It would be a good trust topic book. It is leveled 670 L.
