Reading progress update: I've read 92%.
Five Little Pigs (Audio) - Agatha Christie,Hugh Fraser

If someone would force me to name my favorite Christie (which would be horrible, because it is an impossible thing to do), I would pick this one.

The Glass Cell: A Virago Modern Classic (VMC) - Patricia Highsmith
The Snare of the Hunter - Helen MacInnes

It's a roll day again!

... which takes me to:

10. There's nothing like a trip to the beach to start the summer off, and, for readers, half the fun is picking the beach read!
Read a book that appears on any beach reads list or a book whose author's first or last name begins with any letter in B-E-A-C-H.

Oh, look, Agatha Christie, Helen MacInnes, and Patricia Highsmith all qualify for this one.

What to pick? What to pick?

Book Review: Five Little Pigs
Five Little Pigs (Hercule Poirot, #24) - Agatha Christie

Book: Five Little Pigs

Author: Agatha Christie

Genre: Fiction/Mystery

Summary: Beautiful Caroline Crale was convicted of poisoning her husband, but just like the nursery rhyme, there were five other "little pigs" who could have done it: Philip Blake (the stockbroker), who went to market; Meredith Blake (the amateur herbalist), who stayed at home; Elsa Greer (the three-time divorcee), who had her roast beef; Cecilia Williams (the devoted governess), who had none; and Angela Warren (the disfigured sister), who cried all the way home. Sixteen years later, Caroline's daughter is determined to prove her mother's innocence, and Poirot just can't get that nursery rhyme out of his mind. -William Morrow, 1943.

Five Little Pigs
Five Little Pigs - Agatha Christie

This is a fantastic book.

I love the way it was set up with first the introduction, then Poirot's interviews with the principles involved, then reading the written recollections of the five witnesses, and then finally the conclusions and the unveiling of the guilty party.

In the end, I had sort of worked out part of the conclusion, but not the whole thing.

What fun book to read. It was well paced and wonderfully set up.
