Mars and Mundo are talking about how the MC has changed since Jackson took over as Prez upon the death of their old Prez, Cub. He is getting them in to stuff they don't want to be involved in. Mundo tells Mars of a reporter he can go to for a story to be run. Will they do it?

I enjoyed this story. I was sucked in right away. I liked Mars and Mundo. I liked Annette, the reporter. Unfortunately, just as it was getting good, cliffhanger! I was not a happy camper. I will be picking up the story in the next book. I cannot wait to see what happens.

Bria was in a tent at Deep Creek National Park. Bria had a gun at her waist but it was more for mental security than anything. Coming back to Deep Creek is the biggest mistake of Bria's life.If Bria failed her career would be over she would be the laughing stock of the college and her peers. If she didn’t discover what she came for she had to discover something. Even worse her parents would be devastated if she made no impact on the academia. It seemed like all her parents cared about. Bria couldn’t take any more of her parents disdain and disappointment . Dr Robert Dane had been Bria’s boyfriend until he stole her research and published as his own. Then a man came upon bria’s campsite He was looking for dead wood that he repurposed into furniture. He said he name was Derek Poole and he was also an off duty ranger. For some reason Derek felt familiar to Bria. she couldn’t let him or anyone interfere with her work as she had too much invested. Bria was a ursinologist which was someone who studies bears. This park ranger was hot and Bria was attracted to him but she came here to work. Derek was a planner and took things slowly that ways he had time to make decisions based on logic and details and not pure emotion. The Cave Of whispers had to be protected as Derek and all the bear shifters knew. Yet Derek was compelled to be near Bria and he was definitely attracted to Bria.  Most any other campers wouldn’t have gotten more than a warning or maybe a ticket .  Bria knew bear shifters existed she had seen a man and his child shift once when Bria was a child right here in this park. Derek figures out Bria is his mate. There is a war coming from the mountain lions as the lions wanted the bear territory for their own and wanted to claim it through war.

I liked this story. It was annoying though to keep being reminded that Bria must do something spectacular as she thought maybe then her parents would love her. I felt the ending was a little rushed also. But i did like Bria and Derek as a couple. I did like the struggle between  Derek and his bear that isn’t usually shown that much in shifter stories. I liked the characters a lot as well as the ins and outs of this story and I recommend.

Mundo is finally being released from jail, as far as he is concerned, for the last time. He has incentive. He has found his mate. Now he needs to claim her. Christie had no idea what was happening to her until Mundo shows up at her apartment. She accepts Mundo's explanation for her body's reaction and finds herself enjoying his presence. She is a strong woman, willing to accept the unknown, and able to keep her head during her kidnapping. There are down sides to her new life, but with Mundo, she will face them. Mundo is such a sweet man, wanting to please and protect his woman. I enjoyed this story.

MC Bear My Baby is book two in the Beartooth Brotherhood MC by Bella Love-Wins. This title can be rad as a standalone. I have not read this author before and found myself enjoying MC Bear My Baby. We get a verity of shifters and immortals.

 

The Beartooth Brotherhood MC has turned over a new leaf and are now on the up and up doing security work and jobs. This doesn’t mean they arent’ still the badass bickers.

 

Molly has an interesting background. She’s tough and wants what she wants.

 

Tate is a man whore and likes his kink. He bangs his friends mother. Yuk!! Not much else to say except he does have some issues, but once you get to know him he’s kinda cuddle and he cares.

 

Molly and Tate have been fooling around for over six months, no relationship, just sex. It’s a mutual understanding until Molly’s ex-boyfriend starts to stalk her.

 

I wasn’t sure what to make of this story at the beginning. Tate’s a man whore and I kept wondering if he slept with Molly without protection then who else did he do that with or was it because subconsciously his bear new something and so he conveniently forgets the protection with her? As the story progress something’s come to light and life takes a turn. I found myself enjoy this story more than I thought and Tate started to grow on me. There were fun conversations and scenes as well as few surprises and twists. The ending was sweet.

 

I don’t know if I’ll read more in this series, but it was enjoyable and had several interesting concepts, like this mysterious immortal who can turn humans into shifters, and what made the Beartooth Brotherhood MC change their ways.

Horse is one of the first non-wolf shifters to be patched into the RTMC after the rule change. He’s a Grizzly Bear, and his old pawnshop has become the MC’s new gun store in a mutually beneficial arrangement.

Gabby is a rabbit shifter with a complicated history. Rabbits live in Faerie, but her parents chose to escape to the human realm so they could be together. Tragedy struck twice though, and she was taken to The Summerlands at fourteen to be raised by extended family. She’s grown now and has chosen to come back, even though it means she’s alone in this world.

Bears are loners who are used to getting their way. Rabbits are sexual, social creatures who need a wide variety of partners in their lives if they go outside their own species.

And Gabby’s past is on a trajectory to keep her from the future she wants.

Review

I really didn't need to discover a new author to read but I did. Bear shift catnip. Also, rabbit shifter. I love me an odd pairing. 

In some ways, I want to resist this book because it seems to formulaic and taking advantage of trends rather than be written out of imagination or love of the genre.

We have a motorcycle club. Its erotic. The hero is a bear shifter. He fights.

However, even though I think its fair to say there is too much going on in this book and more time could have been spent with the leads, its a great story of crazy sauce that works and is good.

The writing is very good and distinct. The characters are will developed with interesting backstories (the heroine more than the hero). The hero is kind and awesome. The heroine comes into her own and we have a wonderful opposites attract trope.

The world and culture building is excellent with a great cast. The plot walks the perfect line of conflict and twists without overstepping.

I love the ownership of the rabbit and bear sexuality and the complete comfort with a non monogamous (rooted in DNA and culture) soul mate kind of love.

They are wonderful couple and the love story was a super hot and tender delight.
