Lights To My Siren (The Heroes of The Dixie Wardens MC, #1) by Lani Lynn Vale Review
Lights To My Siren (The Heroes of The Dixie Wardens MC) (Volume 1) - Lani Lynn Vale

ou’re The Lights...

Sebastian had one rule.

No women on the back of his bike. Period.

The one time he broke that rule, he killed the woman that was carrying his child.

Then comes Baylee Roberts. She makes Sebastian want to break every single rule he’d ever implemented. Hell, but she even makes him consider that dreaded H word. A helmet.

To My...

Baylee Roberts innocently walked into her bathroom never expecting that she’d find a man in there. It is her bathroom after all, and she lives alone.

From the instant he placed his hat on her head to protect her from the sun, Baylee’s mind becomes filled with thoughts of a certain biker.

She really shouldn't go there. There’s no telling what kind of dangerous things he does for The Dixie Wardens MC.

Siren...

Nothing is ever as easy as it should be. Their relationship’s one of them.

Baylee’s brother is a cop. Baylee’s father is a cop. Which inevitably means that Baylee’s going to have certain hang-ups about being with a man like himself.

Sebastian has a lot on his plate with his busy job as a firefighter, a single father, and the vice president of The Dixie Wardens MC.

Not enough, though, to keep him away from Baylee.
When a series of arsons rattle their hometown and puts Sebastian’s life on the line, Baylee finally realizes the only fire Sebastian can’t put out is the one inside her heart.

Review

I enjoyed the zazz of the heroine and the hero. The world is interesting enough. I am reviewing this book a while after I read it. Not all that much is lingering but my like of the heroine and that this was on the sweet side of biker romance.

I liked it well enough to want to read the next books series.

Charge To My Line (The Heroes of The Dixie Wardens MC, #6) by Lani Lynn Vale Review
Charge To My Line (The Heroes of The Dixie Wardens MC) (Volume 6) - Lani Lynn Vale

You’re the Charge…

Bad Boy. Screw-up. Good for nothing. Hero. Angel. These were all words Grayson ‘Torren’ Trammel had heard whispered behind his back over his lifetime. What he hadn't heard was ‘quitter,’ and he’d be damned if some little rehab chick, with her beautiful brown hair, and hot, sassy little mouth was going to label him as such.

To My…

Tru knows Grayson’s not for her. He’s too bad. Too hot. Too demanding. Too taken.

She tells herself that almost daily as she helps Grayson get back into fighting shape after a horrific accident nearly ripped his life away from him. That had taken the life of one of the men in his MC.

Grayson is everything her father warned her about, but there’s just something about him that intrigues her. That makes her want more.

The man's a firefighter. How bad could he be?

Line…

Apparently, he could be way worse than bad, but he could also be so very, very good. Something Tru realizes, rather quickly, when the two can no longer fight the pull that’s between them.

Now there’s only one word she wants to hear when it comes to him: his.

Review

I can't say this book is good because there are too many thin spots in character development, the plot (despite the length), and the couple time but the same part of me that likes cheap salty snacks on road trips liked it well enough. I just can't think too much about it. lol

The is a motorcycle club book where the members have the brotherhood but are all civil servants of some kind. This is nice.

The hero is a firefighter and heroine is an physical therapist. She has great parents and a cool sisters as well as friendships. However, the book thins out as it goes on scenes with the secondary characters.

Sadly, we get a lot of summary for the scene between the hero and the heroine as well. The ones that are there are fun.

There is crazy stalking and murder attempts. A dog that we don't get to see enough of...

Yeah.

Here is the thing though, I will likely read more in the series hoping the writing improves.

Why? Salty road trip snacks.
