REVIEW
We finally get clothing store owner Calliope's story and oh my this story.

Enter one man by the name of Godric who doesn't give a rats tail about the issues Calliope may cause him all he knows is she is HIS.

But this story also brings all of the people living in Sanctuary together for one of the biggest battles they will ever face. Many will fall, Many will know heartache like no other, and Many may find a new beginning.
I have enjoyed this series and to see it end was heartbreaking for me. However, this story does the ending justice as we get so many we have loved throughout the series. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Requiem Vampire 2
Requiem Vampire Knight, Vol 2: Danse Macabre - Pat Mills

The plot is still a bit so so but I enjoyed the artwork more in this one. Some of the panels are amazing looking but at times it definitely feels like style over substance.

Vampire Knight: Fleeting Dreams
Vampire Knight: Fleeting Dreams - Matsur... Vampire Knight: Fleeting Dreams - Matsuri Hino,Ayuna Fujisaki This book should be read AFTER the entire manga.
This book despite being 268 pages long is actually a fast read because...
It's double spaced.
I shit you not. And ViZ wanted $15 for this originally.

I will admit I'm only familiar with the anime, however even so I was able to follow along with the story. Which means the main story is that banal that everything makes sense without 90% of it, or that you really don't need these stories for anything.

The stories themselves are varied. One thing you get a note of is that there is a LOT of incest going on in the manga. Literal bother and sister pairings.

That being said, White Lily's story was probably the second worst as the whole beginning is making a joke of her feelings. I know it's a horse, but that attitude translates to real women in real life too.

The worst was Shien's story where she is constantly called poison just because she likes sex and men. She's also shamed for having a 'boy' harem because women should NEVER call men boys even though it seems the reverse is never true.

Vampire Knight Vol. 01 by Tomo Kimura/Matsuri Hino
Vampire Knight, Vol. 01 - Tomo Kimura,Matsuri Hino

GR Cleanup Read May 2011

This was a fun vampiric manga set in a school where there are "day students" and "night students". Yuki is a cute heroine and there is what looks like a love triangle (groan, I know) possibly forming between her, the gorgeous and mysterious night school class president who saved her life years earlier and her tormented friend Zero who is keeping many secrets. I'm rooting for Zero but who knows what will happen? It is in black and white and because several of the characters have very similar features I was a bit confused at times who was who but this is pretty common in most of the manga I read.
