I enjoyed this book so much! It was quick and fun and so well built. I thought the narrator's quirkily wrong english would start to get on my nerves but it just came out endearing really, young and human. So happy I read this!

3.5 starsWell, that took me awhile to finish. The Assassin's Curse was one of my most anticipated books (that I actually ordered it 6 months earlier!) and maybe it's because of the high expectations it fell short. The writing took some time to get used to (sort of like [b:Blood Red Road|9917938|Bloo...

Decidedly unhappy at the prospect, Ananna runs away from her parents, her life as a pirate, and everything she knows and holds dear. But she incurs t...
