I don't have anything bad to say about this other than it really didn't get me excited. It was actually a good story and the build up was well done. The big question, do I try the next one in this series? (I picked it up along the way, probably one of Heather's deals)
Do you love your historical romances with smart heroines? Do you love your historical romances with a hero who actually realizes that there is no way he's going to be as smart as the heroine on his best day? Do you love dialogue that makes you laugh, smile, and tear up? Do you want frank discussions...
It's one of those books that give you mixed feelings.....it's on the way to being good but well not so much.....I do not like the heroine. I just do not care for a heroin who is "ruined because she was young and naive". I almost want to slap these heroins for their stupidity (at least from my point ...
This was exactly to my satisfaction from start to finish. The fact that 3 characters were all granted second chances was nothing short of wonderful but the journey they traveled on the way was awesome to follow along with as it transpired. Since the series is available will borrow rest from my libra...

The plotline is creative but too busy and convoluted and the romance suffers for it. The chemistry between the H and h felt tepid at best. I like my HRs w...

This book takes place a generation later with the son of the now dead evil duke from the novella. Robert has spent his entire life tr...
