Slowly we are introduced to the Vanger family, which will bring Salanger and Blomkvist for a family mystery. As the story picks up back and forth we are introduced to the present life of Salanger (The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo) and Blomkvist (journalist). Both are struggling with their lives. Th...
This is the kind of series I would never normally read, but my curiosity got the better of me. It was so popular I had to pick it up. It started out really slow for me, since I have no interest in the financial babble at the beginning. Once Lisbeth was introduced, my interest was peaked. Lisbeth i...
I enjoyed the movie so much that -although I once decided to skip this book- I gave in and read it. I wasn't disappointed, also because, as usual, there's more to the book than the movie. Great story, though the Wennestrom thread became a tad tedious at the end, and of course the whole Harriet/Swede...

The beginning was a bit slow--I was frankly bored at points in the first 35 pages with all that was dumped on us about the financial world. But I felt it picked right up with the introduction of Li...

During the investigation Mikael realizes ...

I also didn't expect a novel in which the prime character was a young woman with rather severe autism spectrum disorder. Still and all, it's pretty fascinating. I doubt I'll read any more of the series, but at l...
The first time I lost interest. Then someone in my household DVR'd the movie and I wanted to read the book first so gave it another try. I am glad that I did, though it seemed to be a stretch for me in the believable category, I still enjoyed what happened.
