1989Really, all of my problems with Narnia come to the fore in this one. How come Aslan is "the true king" if he can't be bothered to show up more than once every millenia or so? What's the point of all this? If everyone ends up in the afterlife they expect why can't they expect one with plumbing...

A dismayingly poor conclusion to the series... I honestly don't understand why a fair number of people apparently like it. (I believe it even won some kind of award).
