The Other Boleyn girl was a highly engrossing novel, and while there was an amazing story to be had, it was not without its faults. But first, the good! Gregory delved into her characters and was easily able to make the reader sympathetic to at least the plights of Mary and her children, construct...

I don't know why I had it in my head this was going to be dense; it was a light, quick and entertaining read.

I would give 3 and half stars if it would be possible. Some parts of this book were really boring and I almost stopped reading it, because it was really hard to keep reading it. I am happy that I finished it, because towards the end it got better. I hate Anne as a character, she is mean and selfiss....

I wish I had a little clip of the "Men on Film" guys from In Living Color singing "hated it" to imbed right here. I found this just a garden variety trashy romance novel that someone tried to dress up as literature. It was boring, repetitive and the characters were annoying. I only got about 150 pag...

Look, I love the Tudor dynasty. Love love love it. Even got a minor in history just because I kept taking classes on it.So, I know this novel isn't always historically accurate. I know. But boy do I not care. It's just so much darn fun!

Never read her books before and I was totally hooked. I think she made Anne too mean but I still loved it.

I hardly know what to write about this book - it's absolutely fascinating and deeply disturbing at the same time. Girls were used as pawns to further the family ambition, sisters were rivals, and kings were tyrants. Anybody who's looking for a happy book should stay far away from this one where trea...

I would give the first half of this book 2, maybe 3 stars and the 2nd half, four stars so if you're struggling with caring about what happens to any of these characters, stick with it. I finally started to care about Mary after she fell in love with William and wanted to make a life for herself. Som...

I know that parts of this book are historical inaccurate. I know the writing isn't that great. I know it is brain candy. However, I couldn't stop reading it. A nice quick read.

I'm a fan of well written historical fiction and I loved this book. Gregory is a master of historical fiction, especially centered around the monarchy.
