“So, this is my life. And I want you to know that I am both happy and sad and I’m still trying to figure out how that could be.” “Charlie, we accept the love we think we deserve.” The Perks of Being a Wallflower is a poignant story about an ordinary boy who is just trying to find where he fits in ...

"And in that moment, I swear we were infinite."God, this book took me back. It's difficult for me to remember how I was and how I thought when I was that age, even though it was only 11 years ago. 10/2 - I don't know how I'm going to go with this one. The final sentence of the blurb on the back makes me think this is not for me -The Perks of Being a Wallflower is a deeply affecting coming-of-age story that will spirit you back to those wild and poignant roller-coaster days known as growing up...

- 5 stars hands down - and an angry little heart because of some reviews I've seen -Charlie is a wallflower. Always on the sidelines, watching, wondering, waiting. Questioning himself over and over again. You meet him, and you immediately know - this one is not "normal". He is different, he is speci...
