Other reviews at The Book Babe's Reads. My happiness with this series continued right into this book - once again, we start out with a wonderfully action-packed beginning that thrusts us right back into Percy's world. And I loved it! Immediately, stuff was happening and the plot was twisting and P...
Most of us are familiar with Rick Riordan’s Percy Jackson books, but for those of you who are not, here is a brief synopsis. The gods of ancient Greece are real, and they are not really the gods of ancient Greece at all but the gods of western civilization. These guys still live on Mount Olympus...
3.5 starsAfter reading a gay YA fantasy few days ago, I ended up being in the mood for YA fantasy adventure in general. So I decided to finally pick up the Percy Jackson books (I read the first one back in 2010, after watching the movie). I thought since I enjoyed the movie for "Sea of Monsters" too...

I've noticed that the second book tends to be lacking but that did not happen with The Sea of Monsters at all. It was just as action packed and engaging as The Lightning Thief. Maybe even more so sinc...
