Well, hello everybody. I am new to this place but it's looking good so far!
Welcome! Your blog looks tremendously interesting -- you'll fit right in here. A great mix of books on English and French history ... I'll be adding several of those to my TBR shelf! Would you recommend the Schofield bio of Thomas Cromewell as a companion read to Hilary Mantel's "Wolf Hall" (& sequels) or is their portrayal of events so similar that it really becomes duplicative --only one a fictional one a nonfictional version?
