Suggested reading order from TerryPratchett.com:

The Science of Discworld books:
The Science of Discworld
The Science of Discworld II: The Globe
The Science of Discworld III: Darwin's Watch
The Science of Discworld IV: Judgement Day
Thanks for putting this all together, TA. I've never seen the suggested reading order, and I like it!
The suggested reading order looks to be the chronological order, or am I missing something?
The short stories are collected together in A Blink of the Screen if people are in a collecting mood. There's also The Folklore of the Discworld which I picked up but haven't read so I can't recommend. If people are interested in Pratchett as well as Discworld, his essays are collected in A Slip of the Keyboard (ditto with the have but haven't read).

[Aside: Wow, I seem to have a problem with picking up books and not reading them.]

I picked up A Slip of the Keyboard, so it's already sitting on my shelf and waiting to be read. I've never heard of A Blink of the Screen, so I'll look for that. The only non-Disworld Pratchett I've read is the one he wrote with Gaiman - Good Omens.
The Folklore, Keyboard, and Screen books are pretty good. Folklore is more about the folk lore basis for the series. There is also a Discworld quiz book.
I'd be interested in Slip of the Keyboard, The Folklore and A Blink of the Screen - though I'd probably want to read the last one after I have a few more Discworld books on the Read shelf.
I've got A Slip of the Keyboard sitting on my TBR as well. Tannat / Chris: Is A Blink of the Screen an omnibus edition of all of his short stories? I noticed there are several collections out there, including some of his very early short works.
Yes. It is supposedly all his shorter works. Outside of those that are in The Dragons of the Crumbling Castle and Witches Vaccum.
OK, thanks!
The Dragons of the Crumbling Castle and Witches Vaccum and there is another one are all short children's stories. I think it's all his work before the Discworld Novels because the stories are a bit simple.
