Post the book you read to fulfill this letter.
I'm reading The Pipes of Pan by Lester del Rey for this one, but neither the story nor the magazine it was published in pop up.

Eta: found one that has it even though it's not where I got it. : )
'Light' by Nathan Burgoin

The Bridge by Rebecca Rogers Maher

This is a novella about two people who meet at the top of the Brooklyn Bridge as each is about to jump to their deaths. The decide they cannot in good conscience kill themselves when they have a chance to save the other. They agree to spend 24 hrs together trying to convince the other to live. They each get to pick 3 things to do around NYC, and one of those is swim at the top of a building.

This was a really good novella and I don't think it shied away from it's subject matter, and I actually believed the relationship between these two. Highly recommended.
Strangers in Skye by Mabel Esther Allan

Second Chance Summer by Morgan Matson

I'm calling this finish for B as the power of the Sun plays a big part in the story

Age of Miracles
