I have enjoyed Timothy Zahn's Star Wars novels, and I enjoyed this one. My only contention with it is that Zahn is unable to write romance. The 'romantic' scenes between Luke and Mara are stiff and awkward, which is a shame, because I think Luke finally getting a girl deserved a bit more than that. ...

I enjoyed the earlier trilogy Timothy Zahn wrote for the Star Wars franchise, so I was eager to get this one when it was released. It did not disappoint, and was a great addition to what he had already established. Entertaining.

This was the novel I'd been waiting for: a continuation of the Star Wars saga after Return of the Jedi. I loved the way Zahn developed the characters we were already familiar with, and enjoyed meeting the new characters he introduced. Very enjoyable.

This is a fabulous conclusion to The Thrawn Trilogy and fits expertly into the Star Wars mythology. Highly recommended.

Amazing and perfect conclusion to a wonderful, engaging space opera saga from Zahn. Original with strong world-building and characters and a compelling through line. Picks up where the previous book left off and never lets up the whole way through. Well worth reading. But reading "Domino" first.

Great book. Major plot twist in the last 10 pages or so, really unexpected and woah. Will have to read it a second time with what I know now.

Zahn handles it brilliantly, particularly with his cast stuck from early on aboard a Quadrail train the entire story. Great pacing, action, thriller...

Just could not get into this one. I don't think I can enjoy a novel which includes characters from the Original three Star Wars movies for some reason. I disliked SPLINTER OF THE MIND'S EYE and I just couldn't read this. Too bad, I think I want to like it, I just can't.
