I can't even pretend that I got all of this. I'm not sure it's possible for anyone to get all of it in a single reading. Perhaps in the kind of intensive studying one associates with a doctoral thesis. But even then only maybe.Fun coincidence: I was reading this and also reading Hades: Lord of the D...

As always, good stories. I just wish the typefaces weren't so invariably hard to read.

Graphic novels are really touch-and-go for me. I've loved some (like the Bone series, and anything Craig Thompson has written), but this one just isn't doing it for me. I made it about halfway through (which, considering that it's a slim volume, makes it easier to finish), but it's just too dark a...

Even though I’ve been reading other books in between, I’ve really been going through a whole Neil Gaiman phase. Oh, cool. A reality storm, and a group of random characters telling stories around the table at the inn to pass the time while they all wait it out. Gaiman's range is so broad it meets again on the other side. The stories are diverse and intriguing, with all the satisfaction inherent in weird tales, ...

This is a graphic novel that has all the potential to make me obsessed with it. It has everything: an engaging plot, interesting characters, great art, and a story that transcends the boundaries of paper. Of course, it could all go downhill from here, but from what little I know about the rest of th...

I’ve read on many reviews that “Preludes and Nocturnes” is the weakest volume of “The Sandman”. After reading it I can only hope they’re right, because I loved this installment and have high expectation for the rest of series. In “Preludes and Nocturnes” Morpheus, Lord of Dreams, falls into a trap d...

Favorite one so far in the series, they just keep getting better and better! Neil Gaiman had obviously conceived this grand story from the get-go and knew how to add who, what, and when all in the right "where", and it's not Neverwhere. ;]
