Not very compelling as a mystery, but I'll give it an A+ for humor and quirky characters. Joe Morelli takes a back seat in this one and Ranger is practically non-existant. Grandma Mazur is the main star here. The big blue Buick could be a character in its own right, and then, of course, there is Rex...

I give up. I don't understand the appeal of this series. Stephanie is really stupid, and Joe Morelli is an asshole. Someone recommend me something similar, but with characters who are actually decent? Please?

This was way more entertaining to read than one for the money. I don't think I will ever forget about Stephanie finding the chopped penis in the mail. I let my oh so wonderful soon to be husband read that part and he has come to the conclusion that he wants to be cremated as soon as his dead body hi...

This book is full of action but it's not a heavy book ... if that makes sense. Not heavy as in the weight ... heavy as in ... it doesn't bog you down. It's light-hearted. You can put it down and pick it right back u without being worried about being lost. The characters are fun and well developed. I...

This series is silly, silly fluff. It's been a while in between reading the book and writing this review, but the basic plot of the second Stephanie Plum novel concerns Stephanie hunting down a goon who shot a buddy of his in the knee (and later in the head), and who also happens to be Joe Morelli...

One for the Money was good. It was cute and sassy but this one had me literally laughing out loud. Not always a good thing when you're on a crowded train on your way to work. The chemistry between Plum and Morelli was sizzling proving that you don't need graphic sex scenes to show chemistry. Althoug...

The second in Evanovich’s sprawling Stephanie Plum series is kind of a mess. It feels as if Evanovich got some acclaim with the first book and then threw everything into book two. There are so very many plots moving around it’s almost a chore to not only keep up but even guess as to what’s going on ...

Another genius book!!!!!This time we get to know a bit more Grandma Mazur, Stephanie´s grandma. She is a hilarious character, love to go to the afternoon viewings and gossip with everyone about everything. In "Two for the Dough", Stephanie has to collect a guy named Kenny who happens to be Morelli´s ...
