University of NCMO? Is that near the U of U? No… actually it is right here, right now at BYU. What does NCMO mean? This acronym stands for noncommittal make-out, which is a common practice here at Brigham Young University, especially among the freshman class. But wait, wouldn’t that sort of behavior be trashy, and tiptoe on the edge of the Honor Code? Why would such modest young adults choose to frolic in the gray area of promiscuity? Didn’t they just reach dating age two years ago, why are they so eager for physical intimacy? Why does the school allow this to happen? The answer is more reasonable than you would think.
