I loved this book. I know I have seen the movie (the original one, not the remake) and yet the writing here is so strong that you throw away your impressions of the movie to real sink into Rawling's writing. I know most of us have read or had read to us this in elementary school, it holds up well to...

I read this in school sometime in my highschool or Middle time. I do not remember the date I read it but I do remember reading it twice.

When I finished this book I broke out crying and when my mom asked me why I read a book that made me cry I replied that it was SO good!

I read this when I was a kid and thought it was amazing. Then I reread it as an adult and didn't enjoy it nearly as much. Sort of like a great meal you had but when you go back it doesn't live up to the memory. Still my childhood memory of the book dominates and I would definitely recommend it.
