I love Kim Harrison's books. The story lines are exciting and action packed. The characters are multi-dimensional. Kim Harrison builds a world where humans are in the minority. The book is set in the Hollows, where witches, werewolves, and vampires live and police themselves. Rachel is a runner (bou...
Net zoals de andere boeken uit deze serie leest het weer heerlijk weg. Zeker de moeite waard. Ik miste persoonlijk wel kirsten in dit boek. Vond het een leuk karakter in de serie.
It wasn't nearly as action-packed as the previous books, but I'm hoping she's setting up for returning to that kind of thing in the next book. It's not that I didn't like it, I did, it just wasn't as compelling as the previous ones. I'm still looking forward to the next one, though.
These are such good books. When Rachel remembers out how Kisten died, so sad. And it's also sad what happens when she's shunned with her and Marshall. I can't wait until the next book, although the preview was kind of strange. I knew she had a healthy fear of Al, but in the new book she seems t...
Great series! Rachel is snarky and a kick a$$ chick! Jinx is hysterical and Ivy is a real bada$$! I may be crushing on Al, I know he is a demon but he is just so funny!Terrific concept and truly entertaining tale!
You really need to get your hands on White Witch, Black Curse if you’re looking for a good book to read right now. Even if you’ve already read it, it’s a great novel that can be read over and over again and it wouldn’t surprise me if I find even more things about Rachel the next time I read it. If...
I tried several times to finish this book. I never made it pass the first few chapters. Since I enjoyed all the previous books, I was surprised. I really wanted to finish this book because the relationships have been interesting, filled with tension. I finally figured out why I stopped. Rachel ...
I was disappointed with this book. It felt like there were far too many things going on at once and so it lacked a coherent focus. Rachel is trying to find Kistin's murderer, tag a banshee, and deal with Al/save Pierce. It's not unusual for there to be multiple threads in Harrison's books, the probl...
Rachel Morgan is attempting to recover from the trauma at the end of book 6. Her memory of that event is very fuzzy. She spends about five hundred pages trying to get back her recollection of that night. Along the way she must contend with mischief from her demon pal, Al, a smitten ghost and a bansh...
I've continued to read up to this point in the series because of the supporting characters and Harrison's paranormal world; book seven was no exception. However, I would appreciate it if Ms. Harrison omitted the following for the rest of the series: children on their deathbeds, mention of Piscary, b...
