While you look forward to the scent of cinnamon hanging around the house during winters, this is also the time of the year where you’ve got heaps of clothes to take out and restock the cupboards, with almost no room; you’re likely to be catching the cold atleast once this season (or atleast your skin’s going downhill with the temperature) and most terrifying of all – it’s going to be really difficult forcing yourself to get out of bed every day for work, because with everything that winter brings, laziness is the biggest part in its parcel.
To deal with all these problems and lots more, I’m going to talk about some of the most comforting things you can do to make winters less excruciating, and the best part is – most of them won’t even cost you a penny! We’ll first be talking about winter clothes and everything you need to know about reusing the old ones even when they’re no longer appealing to the public with the help of multiple, quick and free DIY activities to revamp your closet.
Next, we’ll take a look at ways to make living indoors less expensive by hacking out ways to make electrical appliances more efficient. Cost-cutting measures will go a long way in this book, as we’ll also talk about things around the house that can be used to raise the heat without actually paying an arm and a leg.
Furthermore, for those who’d like to get rid of snow blues for good, we’re going to see a lot of homemade remedies to be used for your driveway, walkways and cars. You’ll get a lot more insight on defrosting your windows, de-freezing your locks, and keeping your car sans-snow in general. Additionally, there’s a greatly detailed discussion carried forward about camping in the winters, so don’t miss out on that!
And finally before the book leads onto all the other miscellaneous things about winter, I’ll be sharing a number of tips and tricks to take care of your health in the gloomy and dry weather. There are some fun beauty tips as well, for the ladies.
Let’s get started!
