Wild Thing
Wild Thing - Robin Kaye
Hunter loves the outdoors. He hikes, kayaks, skis, you name it, he does it. He also owns his own outdoor company. Toni, on the other hand, is a city girl. She's the manager for a modeling company.
The outdoors freak her out. Not to mention, fashionable shoes are so much more important than practical ones. (Snark).
I admit to being a bit confused. I'm really, really not sure what Hunter saw in Toni. This was definitely an opposites attract, insta-love story.
I also felt I missed something with the (brief) Ben/Gina/Rafael story-line. Huh?
But, it was kinda cool to read a story that happened in Idaho.

This works for fashionista for Ripped Bodice Bingo; Toni is unconventional in her fashion choices. She is a manager for a modeling agency.

Home to You
Home to You - Robin Kaye

After experiencing life-altering changes, both Jax/Jack and Kendall escape to their small hometown. Neither one want anyone else to know they are there. They knew each other as children, having last seen the other 14 years ago. Both end up at the same cabin.
This was good. Both have secrets and realize the life they had didn't fit either of them. Jax does omit who he is at the beginning. Kendall didn't recognize him. She gets to know him as Jack. (His name is Jackson, but was always known as Jax). I understood why he did as he did. Both characters were likeable and had good backstories. I also could see how they fell for each other, then giving each other space. I was a little disappointed at few of the secondary character's storylines: Addie and Jaime. There is something there, but was very unresolved.

Also works for Ripped Bodice Bingo:  Baking/Sweets described in delicious detail.  Kendall cooks and she cooks a lot.

Hip check
Hot on Ice: A Hockey Romance Anthology - Misty D. Waters,Andie J. Christopher,Susan Scott Shelley,Xio Axelrod,Katie Kenyhercz,Kate Meader,Kimberly Kincaid,Angi Morgan,Lena Hart,Kim Golden,Robin Covington,Avery Flynn,Nana Malone,Virginia Nelson,Christi Barth,Heather Long,Robin Kaye,Desiree Holt

This is an anthology of Hockey stories, centered around a championship team.  I chose Deep Check by Kimberly Kincaid for my review.  These books can be read as a standalone novel, but are more fun when read together.

Finn and January have a history.  One that goes back to high school.  The last time they saw one another, their friendship was ruined.  Then tragedy struck.  Can they repair the pain and move on?

January wants to forgive Finn.  It was not his fault she has been hot for him for years.  She does not want a repeat of last time.  Maybe they have both grown enough to make a better future.

This story was so bittersweet.  They are both missing their buddy.  These characters have so much heat and heart.  I was truly excited to turn each page!  I give this anthology a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

"Home To You" by Robin Kaye

What I liked about this novel...

What was there not to like in this story of Kendall and Jack in the author's new series? This author gives us a sweet story of two people in Harmony, New Hampshire with one hiding his identity. Now, why was that? We find that both of these two people had some real problems of there own. What will happen when they come together and there seems to be intense chemistry between the two however, when the truth comes out and Kendall discovers who Jack really is what happens next. I liked how this author was able to give the reader a rather intensed story that will keep you turning the pages to see what will go on next for these two. The hero and heroine in this story were very fascinating and interesting that will keep you turning the pages where you will find that each one of these characters have some wounds that needs are in need of some help. Will they be able to get this from each other after all is said and opened? I did like the way this author presented them sharing with one another especially at the beginning when they really didn't know that much about each other
but as things progress will there be issues [secrets] that gets in the way of their relationship? "Home To You" was definitely a read of two people who had gone through and had some hard blows in their life's. I did find the read rather slow paced at times that left me wondering about that, however, I could see how this author was building the plots and creating this relationship. By the end these two characters will have to make some very important decisions and with saying that you the reader must pick up this good read to see for yourself just what that decision will be for these two.
