Flint, Michigan is a city in need of salvation. Despite having its employment options decimated, its staggeringly-high crime rate, and its overwhelming aura of bare-boned minimalist survival, this city is not a post-industrial wasteland beyond redemption. It is a home to about 99,000 people. It is not ready to be abandoned. Flint has survived times much harder than those it finds itself struggling through today. See it's rich history and how it all turned upside down. While thousands have given up on Flint, Groeneveld has not. Through community education, we can still bring Flint back!
