A very good introduction to mindfulness. In order to get the most out of it, though, one needs to order the CDs in order to do the practice.
I'm assigning five stars based on the book's content and thoroughness. The real value remains to be determined after consistent practice of the program. I read this book years ago and it has stayed with me. I tried to establish a meditation practice on my own, and didn't do so well, so I'm now taking a course through Penn and will be re-reading the book during the 8 week training. I'll update this review with the current read.
