In Corruption We Trust, was written for an English 100 class by college student Sal Galvan. In this brief essay Galvan argues that while the United States has become the most powerful nation in the world, individual citizens have lost a considerable amount of rights. Galvan declares that the viewpoint of America as a utopia is flat out false, and that we must ask ourselves if we our helping our country or tearing down its key values.
