This was a great book. It was full of excitement! Princess Amalie's personality seemed perfect for her role as future queen as well as being the one Cammon falls for. Even though the other books have been in the perspective of different people each time I still love Senneth the best and I make sure to look and see if her name is there. I love seeing her and Tayse togethe...

This was the best out of the series (Twelve Houses) for action and suspense. I would have liked Senneth to have been the one to give Halchon his just dessert, but the result was just as good. This was a worthy series and will look forward to reading more of Shinn's work.
