Another really good urban fantasy. It's so nice to see a main character who wasn't salivating at the thought of becoming a vampire! And, thank the gods, no sparkle!!!

Everyone raves about this one but I just don't get what the fuss is about. It was well written but nothing really happened. The first few chapters were interesting and the last couple tried hard to entice me back in but the chapters in between were a bit drawn out and lacked action. It obviously has...

I really liked this book and stayed up late reading it. I liked Merit even though she trod dangerously close to being Too Perfect(tm). There was generally enough other drama going on that I let it go, but it was a near thing.I had a few minor issues. For one, I'm pretty sure every guy in this boo...

This was awesome! I loved Merit! She's my kind of heroine. Strong but vulnerable...amazing but flawed. I loved watching her make it through the strange world of vampirism and I thought she did it with surprising skill. The whole Ethan, Merit, Morgan triangle is quite interesting. I can't wait to...

I admit that I wasn’t very excited to read this in the beginning. I felt like I have read it a million times before. Heroine who is coming into her own kickassness and an arrogant bastard for a “hero”. BUT, there is a reason I have read it a million times before and that’s because I freaking love t...

I found this book quite boring, I skipped a lot . I started out liking the book but then merit got on my nerves with her confusion about the hero. Why does merit feel betrayed ?She said herself that he doesn't even like her , where does this betrayal come from? The hero seemed to not know what he want...

One (mostly me) wonders if said book or series is really good as people say, or if it's just hype. Then the cards fall on the table and you end up with a ...

Audio review. I wish I had read this book in print as I liked the story and the heroine, but the narrators voice was too stilted and forced for me. I stuck with it, but ultimately decided that was a mistake. I do want to continue with the series, but I most certainly won't do it on audio.

Meh. After 15%, I stopped reading. I just couldn't get into this book at all. The story was a rehash of a hundred other similar plots and didn't offer anything new. The MC was blandly inoffensive, and her transformation into a vampire didn't seem to trouble her in the least. Blah.
