4.5 stars - 'Deep' by Kylie Scott
Deep (Stage Dive Series Book 4) - Kylie Scott

Deep is the fourth and final book in Kylie Scott's Stage Dive series and she definitely ended the series with a bang with Ben's story. Ben is the bass player of Stage Dive, and he's known as the type that doesn't do relationships and will never really settle down. Unfortunately, his world is about to change with a one night stand.

Lizzy has been infatuated with the sexy, tall, bearded bass player since the moment she met the band, but Ben only wants to be friends. He has reasons on why he wants to be just friends and that reason is Mal. (Oh boy Mal definitely doesn't make it easy for Ben in this story) Lizzy tries everything to gain his attention, but he's been hardheaded and stubborn, until a trip to Las Vegas changes everything.

Lizzy and Ben's world is going to turn a 360 with one single test that could bring them together or separate them further. It's definitely up to them to decide which one it will. Or in the case of reading Deep, you'll realize it's actually up to the one sexy tattooed bass player to decide their future. (Ben you definitely were a jerk at times with deciding your future)

Ben is the hard-headed stubborn rockstar of Stage Dive. The man can't make decisions on what he wants really, but he definitely knows how to piss off Lizzy constantly. I felt for Lizzy in the story because here it is, she just wants his attention and to show him how much she cares about him. Unfortunately, Ben is too scared to do anything. I could've throttled the man at times for Lizzy. Lizzy had a huge support system with the other Stage Dive members and I truly enjoyed having all the rest of Stage Dive and their girls in Deep. I definitely enjoyed reading more of Mal. (He will always be a favorite of mine). He's crazy humor and downright straightforward personality makes him irresistible and SEXY! Anne is one lucy woman!

Kylie writes the story by starting off in present time and then going back to when Ben and Lizzy hooked up. This definitely made the story flow very well and I definitely wanted to find out how these two finally hooked up. Poor Lizzy though throughout the story had to deal with so much.

She even knew how to handle Ben's obnoxious crazy sister. (You'll definitely want to hurt her when she is comes forward in the story.)

In the end, Deep was an amazing ending to a very addicting series that I definitely plan on reading again. I'm sad that Stage Dive has come to an end, but I know Kylie is writing another series I know I will enjoy too. She's one author I automatically always buy her books because I know she'll write some addicting characters that I will adore, and unforgettable stories that will require being read again and again.

I give this book 4.5 stars and highly recommend it to readers that enjoy rock star romance books. Just be warned Mal is MINE!  Yup…he won me over since the beginning and he'll always be unforgettable. =)

4.5 stars - 'When It's Right' by Jennifer Ryan
When It's Right: A Montana Men Novel - Jennifer Ryan

The moment I started reading the first chapter of When It's Right, I knew this it was going to be one emotional roller coaster of a book. The first chapter alone grabbed me into the story. It also didn't help with having such a lovable male character who won me over the minute Jennifer switched to his POV. Oh…HOW I LOVE BLAKE BOWEN! He was a sweetheart cowboy the whole entire time in the book. Jennifer definitely matched the female character with the perfect Bowden man. (I'm definitely jealous.)

Gillian Tucker is the female character of the story and she hasn't had it easy at all. Again, the first chapter alone will grip you in and explain what the girl has gone through. The story digs deeper into what Gillian has been through when your reading the story. (but I won't give it away) She is one determined woman who can handle what is thrown at her. Gillian doesn't really trust easily until she meets her Grandfather and one of his co-workers at his Ranch that she is now going to be living at.

The minute Blake sees Gillian he knows he won't be able to let her go. It's an instant attraction kind of thing, but Gillian doesn't make it easy for Blake. She's had it rough. She also has been taking care not only of herself, but someone else too. Blake will do anything to win her over though. He'll even do it very slowly. He's what you will call the perfect caring gentleman.

There's going to be drama in the book that will be uncomfortable at times. Gillian is put in certain situations that definitely make it difficult to read because she's been through so much already. I wanted to go through the book and help her during those tough times. Jennifer definitely didn't make Gillian weak though. She's a fighter. She also has the biggest support system ever in this book.  It just takes her a while to realize she has people to lean on.

I will admit I teared up during certain scenes in the book, especially in one certain point that was a happy moment. Yup…tissues were needed.

I will say it again though, Jennifer wrote the two perfect people to be together. Gillian needed Blake and Blake needed Gillian. These two are my favorite so far in the Montana Men series.

I give this book 4.5 stars and look forward to reading the next in the series. This series is making me want to get a ranch out in Montana now. Maybe I can convince the hubs to move again.  =)

4.5 moons - 'Lure' by Alyssa Rose Ivy
Lure (The Allure Chronicles Book 1) - Alyssa Rose Ivy

I dived into Lure before realizing I forgot to read the prequel to the Allure Chronicles. Once I started Lure though, there was no stopping. My husband kept saying, "Are you done, yet because you've read most of the day away?" Hahaha. My reaction was to give him the evil eye and tell him…I haven't read enough today.  =) I only get to read during the weekends and sometimes after work on the weekdays, but otherwise I devote hours to reading on the weekends.

Lure helped quench of my thirst of reading since I didn't get to read much this past week. Work was hectic, so when I got the chance to sit down I needed a book to suck me out of reality for a while and that is what Lure did.

If you've read the prequel you'll know what you are waiting for in Lure. You'll want to know how Daisy is handling what happened to her in Seduction's Kiss and if she'll ever see sexy Owen again. Well I'm here to tell you to read Lure to find out.   =)

First off, let me say there is a slight cliffhanger in Lure, so be warned before you start reading Lure. Yup…Alyssa Rose Ivy is going to put you through the ringer of Daisy heading to New Orleans to find Owen, and then the unexpected twist of the truth at the end of Lure. Actually, I should warn a few twists and turns throughout Lure because you are left in shock on what is truly happening. (I was in shock)

In the mince of finally being in NOLA, Daisy ends up meeting other paranormal creatures that have shown an interest her. She's not sure to trust them and I feel for the poor girl. She's gone through a lot and still is. All she wants to do is confront the boy that saved her and thank him and maybe more.  ;)

Alyssa Rose Ivy takes you on a ride with Daisy to find the one young man that saved her, but it won't be easy. Sit back and relax and enjoy what Alyssa is going to throw at you. I enjoyed every bit of it. I also enjoyed reading about something way different -  Allures!  =)

I give this book 4.5 stars and look forward to the next book in the series. =)

Tempted by a Rogue Prince (Eternal Mates Paranormal Romance Series Book 3) - Felicity Heaton

I'm playing catch up on Felicity Heaton's Eternal Mates series due to how fast Felicity is pushing out the books for this series. I had a really busy summer that prevented me from reading the books I wanted to read, so I'm playing catch up on one of my favorite series from Felicity. Let's just say reading them back to back is perfect to feed my addiction of this series that Felicity created.

Felicity knows how to write an amazing story with her world building and amazing characters. Tempted by a Rogue Prince is no different from her writing style, in fact she managed to give me more characters to add to my favorites to follow from her.

I have been wanting to read Vail's story since he was introduced in the first book. Poor Vail has been under the control of a witch for 42 centuries and during that time he was at war with his brother. Now he is trying to escape his past, but it's kind of hard when he was captured by demons from the fifth realm. Their king wants Vail to do something for him but Vail doesn't want someone controlling him ever again. He wants to escape and end the pain he has caused with his brother. He will need the help of other prisoners, one that he should hate due her kind, but it's kind of hard to hate her when he has feelings for her.

If you haven't read the first book in the Eternal Mates series, you will miss out on the introduction of Vail into the series. (This is why I highly recommend reading this series in order. You don't want to miss out on certain characters. Felicity has secondary characters get their books later on). But…Felicity sure does an amazing job retelling snippets of what happened in the first book with Vail and his brother in Tempted by a Rogue Prince.

Rosalind is a strong female lead in Tempted by a Rogue Prince and she is tested constantly with Vail due to his issues with witches. He has every right to have issues, but Rosalind is nothing like his captor was. She has such a soft heart and she just wants to help Vail get over his issues. Unfortunately, he is not going to let her in so easily. She has her own issue and that issue may end up being Vail. ***Broken hero…who needs a strong-willed female heroine to get him through it all….but of course there are difficulties with it.

I could go on and on, but I don't want to give anything away. I also could go on and on about how much I adored Tempted by a Rogue Prince. The only reason it's not getting a full 5 moons is because of how sometimes the story drug on in certain parts…but that didn't stop me from continuing. Let's just say the ending had me in tears during the road trip while I was reading Vail's and Rosalind's story. ***Be prepared for the tissues***

I give this book 4.5 moons and highly recommend it to paranormal romance readers out there. Felicity is one author who can push books out like crazy, so be prepared to be able to read stories back to back.  =)

4.5 moons - Hunted by a Jaguar
Hunted by a Jaguar - Felicity E. Heaton

Felicity Heaton is always surprising me with her detailed story lines and lovable characters.  Each story keeps me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end due to the characters puts in the stories and what they have to deal with in those stories. It's no different in Hunted by a Jaguar. From the moment the characters are introduced I'm clicking furiously on my kindle to follow them through their story together. I happened to read this story on a road trip, so believe me I was reading like a mad woman while I was in the vehicle. I need to follow Kyter and Iolanthe through their unusual journey together.

First let me say I LOVED Iolanthe because she is one kickass heroine and I friggin' love kickass heroines. She holds her own throughout the story and I adored her from beginning to end, especially when I found out who is related to.  Seriously…brownie points to Iolanthe because I am in love with the person she's related to. She is stubborn though when it comes to getting help in the story, but she has every right to be. She kind of made me mad towards the end, but all was fair after she made up for it in the very end. She had her flaws, but I still love how strong she was in the story no matter if she did some crazy things.

Kyter is an unusual character, but I remember him from before. I was excited to learn more about him in Hunted by a Jaguar because he's not only Jaguar. He has a dark secret about him, and he's had nothing but a troubled life.  Poor guy. He's out for revenge in the story for what happened in his Pride, but it's kind of hard to get that revenge if someone else is looking for what you are looking for. Kyter's qualities are similar to Iolanthe on being a strong male character, but he is also very funny and devilish. Devilish…by always messing with Iolanthe's head….(flirting…etc.)

Felicity always knows how to make a story flow from the minute a reader starts reading the first page to the very last page. She puts in the right amount of action and romance to make it hard to put down. (At least that is what Hunted by a Jaguar did for me)

I give this book 4.5 moons and highly recommend this book to PNR lovers out there. I do recommend reading in order for this series. You don't want to miss out on the other previous stories. Kyter is mentioned before…so you know ahead of time secondary characters do get their own book later on.

I look forward to sitting down and reading the next book in the series, after my crazy work week is over with. I need my Eternal Mates fix.  =)
