Nightshade
Nightshade: Die Wächter - Andrea Cremer
The Characters

Calla Tor
Renier “Ren” Laroche
Seamus “Shay” Doran

The Story

I found this book to be equal parts intriguing and annoying.

The Intriguing:
- WTF is going on? The whole mystery of the Searcher/Keepers is what I want to know more about. I’m dying for them to uncover the truth.
- What exactly is Shay (a.k.a. The Scion)? Why is he so important?

The Annoying:
- The love triangle between Calla, Ren and Shay. I understand that they are young and hormones are raging but we could have saved 25 pages by not talking about it so much.
- The double EFFING standards! “Oh, Ren’s a young alpha male it’s natural for him to go out with other girls and want sex but NO Calla you can’t dare have desire too.” I’m paraphrasing, but you get the gist. They can take that crap and shove it.

Overall I liked the book. I think it some pages could have been edited out and some opponents (looking at you huge spider) could have been left out altogether. But I’m intrigued enough to go on to the next book.

Invisibile (eNewton Narrativa) - Andrea Cremer,David Levithan

Inizio: 2 luglio
Finito: 4 luglio

Voto: 3 stelline

Wolfsbane- 2 Stars
Wolfsbane - Andrea Cremer

Title: Wolfsbane

Author: Andrea Cremier

Format: Hardcopy

So much dialogue! Seriously. I didn't think I could take any more of it. It was nonstop talking. Virtually nothing was done for 9/10 of the book because all they wanted to do was stand around and talk. Talk. Talk. This is not an exaggeration. Every word was either people talking or description of how people were talking. It was too much. And the back story, if it can be called back story. They explained all the wrong things. There was so much to be done but all anyone would do is stand around and talk.

I have to admit, none of the characters at the institute really did anything for me. None of them were too memorable. In fact the only character that I cared about through this whole book, Ren, was barely in it. They were all just annoying. Honestly, the only tolerable character was Silas and that was only because his flaws were constantly being brought up, though he seemed the most useful person with all the knowledge.

Seriously. There wasn't one. Monroe went on and on about how important it was to get the pack back for the alliance, but did it ever happen? Not until so far into the book that it really didn't make much difference. Only the last 50 pages or so really advanced the story whatsoever. I don't even know what Cremier was trying to do. There was just so much dialogue through every single page that the plot became a second thought.

Bloodrose by Andrea Cremer
Bloodrose - Andrea Cremer

This book was so great until the last 100 pages.  The ending disappointed me so much.  Calla did not end up with who I wanted her to end up with and how the final battle ended was just stupid.  I still love all the characters in this trilogy but it was a very disappointing conclusion.

Wolfsbane by Andrea Cremer
Wolfsbane - Andrea Cremer

I liked this book just as much as I did the first time I read it.  The characters that were introduced in this installment of this series are my favorite.  Conner is perfect and I love him.  I can't wait to read the next book and finish this unique werewolf story.
