Book Review: The Berenstain Bears' Nature Rescue
The Berenstain Bears' Nature Rescue - Stan Berenstain,Jan Berenstain,Mike Berenstain

The Berenstain Bears Nature Rescue is a really good book for all. It teaches us about nature and birds. This one is about learning about different kinds of birds. Like the yellow popinjay. This almost put everyone into an almost war.

The story plot is mostly learning about what is important birds are to peoples. The way the author or authors wrote this makes it easy for early readers to learn about habitats and a lot what around them. Woods and birds are important. There may be more than one way to solve a problem.

The wood bears want to build cottages for more bears and families. Who will come out on top? The story and plot are to learn about birds and saving though birds before they are gone forever. Find out what brother and sister and other cubs do.

It is good for early readers as well. The pictures are done well. I enjoy the images that are drawn. This book is made for all age groups. I enjoy this series as well as many others. One of the best series of my childhood and still is.

BEDTIME!
The Berenstain Bears' Bedtime Battle - Stan Berenstain,Jan Berenstain

Another Berenstain Bears collection. This book talks about the bedtime battle that mama and papa bear has with their cubs. In the end the parents fall asleep trying to get their cubs to sleep. The small bears start with slowly cleaning up and slowly taking a bath and then wanting a story for bedtime. This is a great book to include in the students book box as they can read the Berenstain Bears book collection.

WHAT A MESS!
The Berenstain Bears and the Trouble with Chores [With Press-Out Berenstain Bears] - Stan Berenstain,Jan Berenstain

The Berenstain Bears have several books that your students can enjoy collecting and reading. This particular book can be included in their book box and they can learn about the importance of chores. The younger students can learn that it's fun to have fun but also there is a time to clean up. This book also helps with having responsibilities.

The Berenstain Bears and the Golden Rule - Stan Berenstain,Jan Berenstain,Mike Berenstain

Brief Review:

The Berenstain Bears and the Golden Rule, Do to others what you want others to do to you. The story gives examples of how young children should or should not do to others what you want others to do to you.

Idea of how it can be used in a classroom:

The Berenstain Bears and the Golden Rule could be used to teach students how others feel when they are left out. The teacher could have the students explain why the Golden Rule is so important.

Reading Level & Leveling System:

Accelerated Readers

3.5; Third Grade Fifth Month

Book Rating:

I would rate this book a 5 because it goes over one of the most important rules for children to know and understand.

The Berenstain Bears' New Neighbors
The Berenstain Bears' New Neighbors - 'Stan Berenstain', 'Jan Berenstain'

The Berenstain Bears' New Neighbors, written by  By Stan Berenstain and Jan Berenstain, is about a family who is learning to accept their new neighbors even though they look completely different from what they are used to. I can use this story in my classroom to teach about acceptance, and being kind to others even though they may look different. I can read this book on during the first week of school and allow all of the students to have a Meet and Greet with each other.

4 stars
