Book Review Drop a Gear and Disappear by winter Travers
Drop a Gear and Disappear (Kings of Vengeance MC #1) - Winter Travers
Let's start off by saying we always enjoyed reading this author and we are very excited to dive into this brand new series and we have to say we are so loving this one.

Quinn was your typical biker all alpha and possessive and is sexy as sin and is so in love with his women he will do anything to protect her.

Kimber-We found her to be a bit of a firecracker and one who was funny and sexy and had just enough attitude to handle her sexy alpha biker and keep him in line and in lust.

Quinn has found out that the club he was prospecting for is not at all he dreamed it was and when it was a choice between his club and Kimber guess which one he picked ?

Overall we loved the story from cover to cover .We really loved Quinn and Kimber right from the onset of the story as they made they perfect couple and they had some really hot chemistry that lead to a lot of hot and sexy scene's.

We loved that right from the start of the story that it started off  with a bang and it got more and more intriguing and more intense as the story progresses.

I have to say we loved getting to know all the other character's as well and all those who have become Quinn's saving graces as they were funny and dangerous and playful but, also deadly as sin and when the moment arrives protecting what belongs to them becomes a reality and it's vengeance be damn .We are so looking forward to the other brothers and their stories as we have already developed a bit of a soft spot for Dyno already.

"We loved it !"

We are so looking forward to the next book in this series....

Three Ways to Disappear
Three Ways to Disappear - Katy Yocom
The DeVaughan children grew up in India where their father worked at a clinic saving lives.  After an unexpected tragedy the DeVaughan sisters, Quinn and Sarah and their mother pick up and move to Kentucky, leaving their father behind.  Quinn, the eldest sister, blames herself for the accident and their mother blames India.  Now as adults, Quinn is a neurotic mother of twins who is continuously used as the family doormat, younger sister, Sarah is an adventurous journalist whose assignments takes her to the most dangerous parts of the world and their mother has developed a spending habit that she absolutely cannot afford.  Sarah decides to break away from journalism and takes a job at a Bengal Tiger Conservation Organization in India, near their old family home.  Sarah becomes notorious internationally for her efforts to save a tiger cub and begins a project with the village women that she needs Quinn's help with.  With both sisters in India, Sarah and Quinn dig into their past and the truth behind the tragedy that ripped through their family while trying to protect the future of a young tiger family.

With a powerful opening that gave insight into the entire DeVaughan family dynamic in one sentence, I knew I was going to fall deep into Three Ways to Disappear.  Combining literary fiction with family drama and environmental fiction created a dual story of the DeVaughan family and Machli the tiger' family trying to navigate life.  From the beginning Sarah's character gives absolutely stunning descriptions of the beauty of the wild's of India and the contrast of the small villages and colorful cities that made everything feel as if I were there.  There was also a deep understanding of tigers and their role in nature.  Machli, Akbar and their cubs were characters in the story just as much as Sarah and Quinn, with personalities and goals that I cared about.  The focus of the story however, is on Sarah and Quinn and how they are still trying to find themselves apart from the tragedy that defined their childhood.  Sarah and Quinn take very different routes to find who they really are, although the tigers and the magic of India helps them both in their journey.  A highly emotional ending closes out this impactful story that left me thinking about my the effect of my actions on the Earth and those around me.

How to Fix You (more or less)
How to Make Disease Disappear - Rangan Chatterjee

Was recommended this by a clinical psychiatrist at University of Oklahoma Children's unit. Her words were "You cannot be a good mother unless you take care of yourself." So I audiobooked it. Less than 5 hours and very insightful. It's a lot of things I already knew but with a few new additions and put into terms I understand. I will be beginning this new journey tomorrow morning. Wish me luck.

Dark tale, building a new series. I found it intriguing.
Drop a Gear and Disappear (Kings of Vengeance MC #1) - Winter Travers

Quinn was looking for a brotherhood to belong to and found something more dangerous. This was a dark story with some steamy scenes, violence, and trust leading to the right kind of bond. I enjoyed the book as I liked the connection between Quinn and Kimber, and the trust between Quinn and his friends as they rescue Kimber. Kimber's strength of will and mind to survive made her a great heroine. I look forward to more in this series.

I received an ARC through Enticing Journey Book Promotions, and this is my unsolicited review.

Watch Me Disappear: A Novel - Janelle Brown

I thought that this was a pretty good premise for this book. However, I did tire of the father rather soon into my reading. I just did not connect with him at all. That being said, I'm not sure how I would act if my wife was missing for over a year and finding out all kinds of things about her that he did not know. Things in her past that were not even close to being revealed or told truthfully during their marriage that had been long enough to produce a teenage daughter.

Besides the missing mother and wife, there are other things going on in the book. Most of them having to do with the teenage daughter who is seeing visions and thinks her mother is still alive. These visions, after a while, lead the father and daughter to a mystery that was a shock to them both.

A decent read that includes some suspense that is, if you can get over some of the actions taken by the father.

Thanks to Random House and Net Galley for providing me with a free e-galley in exchange for an honest, unbiased review.
