Last Call is the seamless partnership of Felice Stevens and Christina Lee. Now, as you may be aware, I'm a long-term fan of Felice Stevens, but Christina Lee is a new one to me. After reading this, you can guarantee that I will definitely be reading more of her work.
We start off the story with Gray and Quinn, two best friends that have very different outlooks on life, due to their own personal demons and history. However, they have been friends for years, and their relationship is strong. Both of them want for more, but neither of them are prepared to make the first move in case they lose what they have. And then enters Emery. He is a hard-worker, jack of all trades, cast adrift when the circus where he had lived for a big part of his life, closed down.
The going is tough with these three to begin with. They are all prickly, with only Quinn wanting everyone to get along, but even he has his moments of doubt. Through circumstances, they give each other a chance, and things heat up exponentially!!!
This story is sheer perfection. It is smoothly written with me having no idea who had written what bit! The characters are outstanding and fully believable. These three guys complete each other, making for a single unit, rather than three separate people. If you like M/M, or Ménage, then I can highly and definitely recommend this. Simply superb.
