I liked Danny, Van not as much. He frequently describes himself as a "man-whore." I just didn't buy their romance. The both of them liked to go out and he'd pick up the "flavor of the day" in front of her. This is Van's description of Danny: "beefy," "deeper voice," and "Her hands are not quite what I'd call sexy because they're too big for my taste." I also didn't like Van's opinion of a Prius (as someone who drives one because I care about the environment/fuel economy): "sissy-assed Prius."
I didn't need to be reminded of Van's "man-whore" status either. "I've had more blow jobs than I can count on my fingers and toes." BUT, the one he got from Danny is "the hottest thing." 
Whatever dude.
What saved this was Danny made him work for it.

Heat: Outlaw Romantic Suspense (A Hotter... Holy shit this book was AWESOME!



I don't even know where to start with how much I LOVED this book.The plot was flawless, and flowed beautifully. I never once felt the need to skim, but I sure felt the need to keep turning the page! The side characters were interesting and well written. It was a bit of a slow burn for me, with the sexy times not showing up until halfway through the book. The sexual tension before that was off the charts though. I would have also preferred a bit more of a time jump for the epilogue, but we will see more from this couple in future books.

Moon was so frigging hot, and sexy. He was the epitome of the perfect book anti-hero. I enjoyed Mak slightly less just because she took such a long time to get over her judgmental morals. It was understandable with her being a former cop, but she acted like a naive brat on a couple occasions and I wanted to hit her.

Overall this was an amazing read for me, and I need Alex's book like RIGHT NOW!

Rebecca is definitely out of her comfort zone when she joins her sister at a party. A party filled with jocks, players and now one of them is making his move, in a non-welcome way. As luck will have it, she´s saved by a gorgeous hunk of a man, Killian the quarterback. When he turns out to be interested in more, can she resist him? Focused on her own running, can she make time for him, and with his own playing, will he have time for her?
Sports, emotions, Alpha male and smutty fluff in a great combo.
