Die verfluchten Eier - Michail Bulgakow,Alexander Nitzberg

That was a lovely, pleasant surprise.

I found this novel very amusing, in a way. The narrator's voice, the characters, the way everything goes wrong because of a mix up. :) I'm sure there's a whole world of literary and linguistic layers I'm missing but it's enjoyable without them.

Now Master and Margerita moves a little more to the top in my TBR :)

Ich bin der Größte. Ich lebe im ewigen Dämmerlicht habe aber ein gutes Gespür für meine Umgebung und registriere die kleinste Veränderung. Mein Lebensraum ist unermesslich endlos und verläuft an den Rändern.

Man hat mich meinem Territorium entrissen und mir mein Zuhause genommen, ich weiß nicht mehr, wo meine Welt ist, ich bin voller verschwundener Gerüche. Mein Balkon, auf dem ich mich so gern in der Sonne räkle, ist ebenfalls fort. Alles ist verloren, zerstört.
