Informed Consent
Informed Consent (Sasha McCandless Legal Thriller Book 8) - Melissa F. Miller

I have to say that out of the past couple of books in this series I definitely liked this one more than the others. I did enjoy reading about both of the storylines but I did have a problem regarding the one involving Connelly's father. I don't quite believe that Connelly would agree to do what he did, so that was definitely out of character. I really enjoyed the medical research plotline in this book. One of the only things I was a bit disappointed in was the lack of action. The action at the end was good but I would have liked more.

A Mingled Yarn
A Mingled Yarn: A Sasha McCandless Novella Book 7.5 (Sasha McCandless Legal Thriller) - Melissa F. Miller

While I am thrilled that Sasha and Connelly are going to be parents, I found Sasha to be insufferable annoying in this novella. I'll blame it on the hormones. She spent most of this whining, arguing, or complaining. I felt bad for Connelly as he was terrified to be a parent. There was a twist with Sasha's pregnancy thought I couldn't believe that they didn't figure it out sooner. I look forward to see what happens next with Sasha and Connelly's family.

Irrefutable Evidence
Irrefutable Evidence (Sasha McCandless Legal Thriller Book 7) - Melissa F. Miller

Eh, this one seemed like filler. There was zero mystery, too few thrills, and what felt like a slow moving plot. I really don't feel like anything happened in this book (except for the news at the end) that really contributed to the progression of this series. I still loved reading about Sasha and Leo nonetheless.

Irrevocable Trust
Irrevocable Trust (Sasha McCandless Legal Thriller Book 6) - Melissa F. Miller

I cannot believe that it has been over two years since I last read a book from this series. A few books have been published in this series during those two years but for some reason or other I put off reading them. Reading this installment has really feel like I was reconnecting with old friends.

Sasha and Leo are still newlyweds and they find themselves having to take care of six children after their mother is killed. All of the children and their mother were in the Witness Protection Program hiding from the father, Jeffrey Bricker, who is a person Sasha and Leo have previously dealt with. When Bricker escapes from prison they all find themselves in danger.

This book really reminded me of why I love this series. In the end I was actually happy with where the kids ended up. I really look forward to reading more of this series and hope to be caught up in the near future.

Reading progress update: I've read 2%.
Irrevocable Trust (Sasha McCandless Legal Thriller Book 6) - Melissa F. Miller

This series is one of my favorites. I have fallen quite a bit behind in this series (book 9 will be released in June) and I thought that I would finally catch up. When I last left off reading the series Sasha and Leo had finally gotten married. I am off to see what happens next.
