A Book and A Review #2

The Secret Knowledge: On the Dismantling of American Culture - David Mamet

Ya know I can see why Mamet pissed off his critics with this book. But, really good points he made..I just wish his writing could be a little less "dramatic". I felt like I was reading one of his pieces of fiction..otherwise, I probably would have given the book 5 stars.

Telynor's Library, and then some

Secret Knowledge: Rediscovering the Lost Techniques of the Old Masters - David Hockney

I never would have heard about the camera lucida without this book. Controversial, but terrific to read.
