The Diva Frosts a Cupcake (A Domestic Diva Mystery #7)
The Diva Frosts a Cupcake - Krista Davis

I'm a fan of this series, but this one just didn't do it for me and I can't say why. Well, I can say waaayyy too much internal dialogue was going on - I was skipping all sorts of paragraphs. But even so, something was just missing from this one.

Plot line was decent, although a bit all over the place. Didn't guess the murderer, but I don't think I was trying either. I just kept thinking "must get through this book".

Well, fingers crossed for the next one.

The Diva Frosts a Cupcake (A Domestic Diva Mystery)
The Diva Frosts a Cupcake - Krista Davis This series is a favorite of mine, but this one has to be my least favorite of all of them so far. It took me awhile to get through it and it seemed the story just didn't flow like previous ones did. A couple of really over the top characters and what the hell makes Sophie a "scarlet" woman because of her relationship with Wolf? EVERYONE thought his wife was dead!! Also, with all that's happened in Sophie's life in past books, why would her doors not be locked so stupid people couldn't barge in with accusations? Anyway, one of the best things about this book? Natasha just came across as really stupid instead of just plain mean this time! Recommend if you're already a fan of the series, otherwise pick up another book in the series first.
