Book Review: All Dressed in White
All Dressed in White: An Under Suspicion Novel (Under Suspicion Novels) - Alafair Burke,Mary Higgins Clark

Book: All Dressed in White

Author: Mary Higgins Clark & Alafair Burke

Genre: Fiction/Mystery/Romance

Summary: Five years ago Amanda Pierce was excitedly preparing to marry her college sweetheart in a lavish ceremony at The Grand Victoria Hotel in Palm Beach. Then, with their guests and families on site, Amanda disappeared. In present-day New York City, Laurie accepts an uninvited visitor into her office: Amanda's desperate mother, who begs Laurie and her Under Suspicion television team to investigate Amanda's disappearance. It's an appeal Laurie, a widow too familiar with the grief felt by the families of victims of unsolved crimes, can't refuse. Soon she and the team are re-creating the night of the disappearance at the Florida resort with Amanda's friends and family in attendance, hoping to shed new light on the mystery, as the series has done in the past. With Amanda's former fiance now married to one of Amanda's bridesmaids, her jealous sister now integral in the family business, playboy groomsmen still behaving badly, a too-friendly wedding photographer, and rumors about the "beloved" bride herself, Laurie and Under Suspicion host Alex Buckley quickly realize everyone has a theory about why Amanda vanished into thin air - and a reason to direct Laurie's attention elsewhere. One thing is certain: whoever was behind Amanda's disappearance plans to keep the truth hidden "until death do they part. . ." - Simon & Schuster, 2015

All Dressed in White: An Under Suspicion Novel (Under Suspicion Novels) - Alafair Burke,Mary Higgins Clark

4 Stars! #AllDressedinWhite  @simonschuster  @alafairburke Mary HIggins Clark

While this was my first book by Mary Higgins Clark, it was not my first book by Alafair Burke. For me, it was okay. I'm used to a lot more suspense where this one had a casual suspense hanging over it, a bride had been missing for five years. It wasn't page turning or gripping for me until the ending.

It was a decent read and I had absolutely no idea who had done it and I believed the author's when they pointed the fingers at every suspect for me. And no, I did not guess the real suspect at all. And it definitely did keep me entertained. I"m just used to more suspense with a book written by Alafair. I would still recommend the book as it was engaging and still kept you wondering. There were many suspects and like I said, I believed hook, line and sinker. Well, until the next suspect.

Definitely worth the look and the time.

Thanks Simon & Schuster and Net Galley for providing me with a free e-galley in exchange for an honest review.

Dressed in White - Jessica Gibson Dressed in White - Jessica Gibson I received this book in exchange for a fair and honest review. This review is 100% my own opinion.I loved this book, and read it in 2 days.

This is a romance novel lovers dream come true. I'm a romantic at heart so I instantly fell in love with it.

This book is like a soap opera. Things alternate from going great to drama in the blink of an eye.

I don't know that I'd be as accepting as Lorelei was about Dillion's past. I couldn't believe Dillion in some aspects. In others, I fell totally in love with him and saw why Lorelei loved him so much.

I was on the edge of my seat wanting to see what happens next. I fell in love with all of the characters.

I can't wait until the next book in the series comes out. I give this book a 5 out of 5.
